Description
1. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personal policies and procedures upon Management approval.
2. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
3. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling them with the data storage system.
4. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning, suggesting, and implementing new design layouts upon Management approval; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
5. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget for the Warehouse subject to Management approval, scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
6. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees following up on work results.
7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
8. Responsible for the accuracy and safety of goods inside the Warehouse.
9. Provides and/or identify the proper location of the goods in the racking system.
10. Provides monthly, quarterly, and/or Annual physical count report as requested;
11. Reports incoming goods during importation arrival-receives, count and verify against delivery/import transmittal of the goods, and supervises unloading to pallets and loading up to specific pallet location
12. Check and verifies order picker prepared and subjected verified items for validation by the Accounting Assistant on Inventory releases
13. Monitor requirements on manpower for the Warehouse should the need arise
14. Coach and trained Warehouse staff as the need arises
15. Performs other tasks as assigned
16. Accounting background is preferred but not required
