A. JOB DESCRIPTION
This job is for International Builders' Corporation in Pavia, Iloilo. While Iloilo-based applicants are preferred, this position is open to experienced Warehouse Managers from other areas in the Philippines who are willing to relocate to Iloilo.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and leading multiple areas of the warehouse operations to achieve company goals, while maximizing productivity, ensuring efficiency and meeting budgets / financial targets. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for providing all levels of staff with leadership, vision, insight and motivation within their areas of responsibility. In addition to managing a team, the Warehouse Manager will also develop and implement short and long term plans for all departments under him in accordance with objectives and strategic plans and is responsible for the warehouse's success.
Responsibilities:
• Directing and overseeing receiving, warehousing/storage and distribution operations.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Implementing and overseeing security operations.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and excellent maintenance of warehouse facilities and premises.
• Ensuring safety of staff.
• Motivating and disciplining staff.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
B. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
• College graduate preferrably from Indiustrial Engineering or Business-related courses
C. SKILLS
• In-depth understanding of best practices for warehouse
• Logistics and inventory control; supply chain
• Data analysis
• Leadership and people management
• Business acumen; Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts and terminologies
• Tech-savviness
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems
• Organization; attention to detail
• Time management; Multi-tasking
• Communication
