Volunteer - Calamity Relief EffortKatalyst.ph

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, our company is looking for socially-driven and self-motivated individuals from all walks of life who are interested in volunteering for our calamity relief effort missions that we may mobilize in case of natural disasters and emergencies.
Since this is a non-paying position, we can only offer allowances to cover certain personal, transportation and other operational costs. Furthermore, all our volunteers (especially students) will receive a Certificate of Participation / Appreciation that documents their participation in our medical mission.
The successful volunteer may be assigned to different key roles depending on their skills, knowledge, and experience. Furthermore, they may be working on a variety of roles as needed in the calamity relief effort that may include the following:
Talk to people and community leaders by educating them about the calamity relief efforts and other intervention that our mission is undertaking
Volunteers with medical training will assist in all medical services from medical checkups to minor/major medical intervention.
Other volunteers will assist in the logistics, operational and administrative aspects of the mission.
While some will provide other support roles to coordinate all aspects of the calamity relief effort from reaching out to relevant local and national government agencies to assisting NGOs and other volunteer groups.
Although we consider volunteers for this mission from a wide variety of backgrounds, we consider individuals with the following qualifications:
Doctors, Nurses, Medical Technologists, Physicians, Therapists and medical students would be preferred as the work requires specific medical skills.
Surgeons, Paramedics, and First Aid Responders who have valuable experience undertaking timely medical intervention would be an important addition to our team as well.
Pharmacists and pharmacy students are needed in distributing medicines and other prescription drugs as needed.
Social workers and other professionals that have experience in refugee assistance, logistics, and calamity relief management would play a key role in our mission.
In general, volunteers may be needed in other areas that require work dealing with people and community leaders.
