Position Title: Virtual Event Platform Developer (Consultant)
Location: USAID ESP Activity Philippine Office
Summary Scope of Work: The USAID-funded Energy Secure Philippines (ESP) Activity aims to assist the Philippine Government in pursuing development in the power sector. It has the three-fold objective of improving the performance of electric utilities, increasing the deployment of advanced energy sources and systems, and improving the energy procurement process.
The hired consultant shall provide the ESP with an interactive virtual platform for the Activity's future virtual events and webinars.

Key Responsibilities
All staff members of RTI, regardless of the level of their responsibilities are expected to model RTI's mission, vision and values.
The "Consultant" shall work with USAID ESP, through the Communications Team, with the following objectives:
Custom domain name
Event landing page with user log in
Backend functionality that will automatically redirect the audience to the main hall and breakout rooms, which can be controlled by the event secretariat
Main Hall with embedded live broadcasting sessions/ability to stream live video
On-demand days: recorded content/ability to broadcast content that has been pre-recorded
Engagement and communication features such as chat platform, live polling, and Q/A
Content back up
Interactive emojis in the main hall
Live support chat box for technical assistance
Email blast with automatic encoding and schedule assistant that can send reminders through google calendar or outlook calendar
Reporting and analytics features
Real time reports & insights
Links for downloadable files, feedback forms, breakout rooms, or any related links
Execute the necessary processes to deploy the software designed to be accessible to PCs, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and other gadgets
Customization of software: consultant should provide ESP backend access to the platform that can be easily updated for future events.
Provide an easy-to-view wireframe to navigate schedule immediately, links to conference rooms, downloadable presentations, and other event features
The customized virtual platform must be compatible with main market available browsers, including but not limited to Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.
The consultant should provide demo and training sessions with the ESP internal staff on how to navigate the backend portion of the platform.
Level of Effort:
Anticipated level of effort is up to 60 days referenced period of performance. The Contractor is expected to be flexible and sustain collaboration with USAID ESP Activity during this time.
Period of Performance:
August 19 to December 15, 2021
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering and 3 years related experience, preferably in web design and development.
Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming, and Web User Interface Design (UI)
