Position Purpose
The Virtual Accountant II will be responsible for performing, managing, and recording various transactions relating to the day-to-day dealings of, and preparation of reports as required by clients. The position will have an integral part in the financial reporting and compliances of said clients. The candidate should be a fast learner with an excellent ability to digest new material, be able to work independently and timely, with excellent written and verbal skills, and have the capabilities to work alongside team members in identifying issues and implement solutions as needed.
Responsibilities
General accounting and bookkeeping according to local, and industry-specific accounting requirements.
Maintains client relationships at the process owner level.
Assists in the preparation of clients' monthly financial statements using the client's cloud-based accounting system.
Assists in the accounting function of the client's Agency Management System.
Performs tasks assigned and ensures that client engagements follow the prescribed service quality of the company.
Performs other duties as may be required by the Partners.
Qualifications
The candidate must have proficient knowledge and qualifications in the following area:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Allied / Related Courses.
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to deliver quality work while adhering to strict deadlines
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and other applications, such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferably with 3 - 4 years work experience in the related field
Willing to work in a graveyard shift.
Technical requirement: Must have his/her own laptop with decent specifications and a stable internet connection.
