About the Role:
The video editor is expected to collaborate with the Marketing Department while working on the marketing campaigns for a recruitment firm and a foundation based in Australia.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, design, produce and edit video content for the website, email marketing, and social media platforms
Develop a good understanding of the client's brand and tone to capture it in video and image form
Edit and repurpose videos based on SEO guidelines
Work on videos from influencers promoting the company
Edit long-form content into various lengths and aspect ratios, optimized for social media platforms
Work collaboratively with the client to create an innovative, compelling and creative storyline.
Write, develop, and pitch creative concepts for promos, ads, and short-form video content
Able to use sound effects and fun and witty captions at the right time in the video
Animate text, input effects, and add music
Create custom thumbnails
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of extensive experience creating and editing videos for marketing purposes
Has a strong understanding of the social media platforms and metrics to help adjust to the video strategy
Creative storyteller
Good working knowledge of video and content management systems for digital platforms
Comfortable working with deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects happening at once
Can think out of the box
Proficient in current versions of Adobe Creative Software
Proficient in other video editing and creative tools
