WriteForMe is looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our busy digital content marketing team. They will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the company's vision.
To ensure success as a video editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and deliver projects on time. Ultimately, a top-notch video editor can perfectly translate the team's ideas into a beautifully crafted film or video piece, worthy of publishing online.
Responsibilities:
Meet with the team to determine the product vision.
Review raw material to determine the shot list.
Manipulate film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
Trim footage and put together the rough project.
Insert dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
Ensure the project follows a logical sequence.
Consul with the team throughout the project.
Creating the final cut for posting.
Requirements:
Previous work experience as a video editor.
Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Premier, and/or iMovie.
Creative and artistic skills.
Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
Portfolio of completed film productions.
Ability to work on a tight schedule.
Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
Experience and/or familiarity with SEO and digital content marketing is a plus.
