Job Title: Video Editor
Working Hours: M- F 4 PM - 12 AM PHT
Salary Range: 1,000 - 1,500 USD per month
Duties / Responsibilities
The video editor will be responsible for taking raw video files, syncing audio, cutting clips, editing, covering into vertical shorts, and doing animations.
Full-time video editor to complete videos (talking head) within 12 hours. We would film during the day and hand off raw files after hours. (We're in San Francisco)
Upload videos on Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok
Requirements
Has at least 1-2 years of experience in the role
Has expertise with long-form videos
Uses descript for cutting (extremely easy to do, practically no learning curve)
Can edit a video from start to finish in 4 hours or less.
Professionally fluent in written and spoken English. Knows about natural pauses for commas and sentences when editing.
Experience in editing talking head videos with stock footage.
Nice to have: interest in UX design and tech.
Expert in using Final Cut Pro and After Effects (advanced Final Cut Pro experience, including color grading and audio editing, and sound editing)
Someone who can create videos like the ones in Vanessa Lau's YouTube videos
