Our client provides a range of digital agency services to Australian businesses.
They are seeking a home-based graphic designer that has video editing skills and experience or
a video editor that has graphic design skills. Either way, we are seeking the right person with the skills and experience to match.
You should have the ability to take a brief and build it into something, as well as make updates and changes quickly based on feedback.
You will work with multiple stakeholders, timelines and priorities and be comfortable with asking clarifying questions.
Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of experience in video editing. Your video editing skills should include:
Ability to edit short marketing videos
Subtitling
Graphic inserts
Animations
Opening/Closing
Cover image creation
Must have at least 2 years of experience in graphic design. Your graphic design skills should include:
Logos
Icons
Marketing artwork
Branding assets
Marketing assets (banners/advertising art)
Must have strong layout skills and understand fundamentals of design
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills to efficiently satisfy competing workload demands
Excellent communication skills to interact, brainstorm and convey original ideas
Attention to detail
A "can-do" attitude to everything you do
Excellent working PC/Laptop
Reliable wired internet connection (speed should be at least 10Mbps for download and 5Mbps for upload
Quiet work environment
Client does not have any preference for specific tools or applications but they have been using Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro, but if you have a preference for certain editing tools that's okay, so long as it's efficient.
