The Head of Finance role is accountable for establishing the organization's financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements and record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
Set up and oversee the company's IT team and systems
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
