Being a member of our Operational Risk team, you'll work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
The Vendor Risk Management Associate is responsible for effectively evaluating, assessing, and reporting on Vendor Risks. The Associate is responsible for assistance with reviewing vendor risk assessments, developing tools, and implementing procedures to effectively handle vendor risk throughout the vendor lifecycle. The Associate will also support management with metrics reporting and monitoring of Vendor risks; including data collection and analysis, periodic ongoing monitoring and reporting.
Lead the design and implementation of Vendor Risk operating models, identifying, evaluating, and providing solutions to evaluate complex business and technology risks.
Writing and updating scalable code using Python programming language to run Vendor Risk reports
Assist with the development and implementation of the Vendor Risk framework including content development and managing project tasks to ensure successful completion of deliverables.
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of risk management, with specific focus on information security, data protection, resiliency, and other key operational risks.
Participate and lead projects around designing, building, testing, integrating, and implementing vendor tools/platforms (such as ServiceNow, MetricStream, Archer etc).
Create and design effective presentations as a means for communicating project and deliverable progress to stakeholders.
Provide dashboard reporting through Power BI on vendor risk program activities, results, and outcomes
Mitigate vendor risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
Coordinate with internal stakeholder from Corporate Procurement, control functions and risk committees to communicate on the TPR process, vendor issues and potential risk mitigation.

Talents Needed for Success:
4-5 years of Risk Management or Internal Audit experience
Knowledge of reporting in Python, VBA, Excel, and Power BI is required
Knowledge of creating, improving and documenting workflows in Visio, Power Apps, and SharePoint
Bachelor's degree preferred with Risk management, project management and process improvement experience
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Solid communication, negotiation, and relationship management skill
Knowledge of industry and regulatory guidance related to managing third party risk
