We're looking for a proactive Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager that will lead our tax planning/reporting for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical taxation, software systems, and Excel skills. This role is great for someone who has a strong sense of order and consistency. We require candidates to have at least 5+ years of experience and preferably has an EA or CPA certification. Candidates who currently run their own practice and are looking for additional income are encouraged to apply!

We're excited to have you join us! Here are some (but certainly not all) of the responsibilities for this position:
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Review corporate and personal tax returns for completeness and accuracy
Prepare complex corporate and individual tax returns
Assisting with tax research and planning according to current tax impact of proposed company activities and transactions
Assist tax partner with organization of tax flow
5+ years of various corporate and individual tax accounting and return prep experience
Have experience in responding to notices from Federal, state and local tax authorities a plus
Stays up to date with tax changes and industry trends.
Has strong bookkeeping experience
Strong organizational skills, critical thinker
Can independently research tax laws/regulations and handle special project as needed.
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Willing to learn and be trained in tax work related to industries such as tech startups and cryptocurrency/blockchain
Ability to work well under pressure
Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decision
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from partners and clients
Coordinating with US colleagues in addition to external tax and accounting partners
Helping teammates with their work, improve their skills, and generally help each other get better and be better.
EA/CPA is a plus
