GENERAL FUNCTION
A Staff Accountant handles a company's accounting procedures and maintains a healthy financial profile ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local principles. This position will assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the US Corporate Accounting Team as well as oversee the Investment Accounting for a portfolio of properties and other accounting related works. It will perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail, and review financial statements for accuracy before preparing reports that will assist senior management in making informed decisions about upcoming projects or years' budgets. The staff accountant is responsible also for keeping track and recording all transactions within a company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Accounting:
Process corporate bills and allocate expenses across the portfolio
Review employee expense reimbursements on a monthly basis
Reconcile corporate bank accounts
Produce month-end financial reports
Investment Accounting:
Reconcile investment bank accounts
Oversee investment-level financials and provide ad hoc analysis
Review property-level financials from our 3rd party management company to ensure accurate financial reporting
Work with the property accountants throughout the month on cash management and ad hoc requests
Communication Skills:
Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer Skills:
Demonstrate proficiency working in QuickBooks and Advance Excel; very good with spreadsheets
Preferably with Entrata Property Management Software experience.
Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
Has an impeccable eye for detail.
Has an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
Preferably with 3 years of accounting experience in real estate investment
Proven accounting professional experience who gets along well with the team
A self-starter and self-motivated, able to ask the right questions to get all the information needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary:
Rate: CPA: up to 65,000PHP | Non CPA: up to 45,000 PHP, but please share your expectations regardless of the amount.
ND Pay : mandatory night differential (ND) pays for work done from 10:00pm - 6:00am) (10% of the hourly rate)
OT Pay : Mandatory overtime pays for work done beyond the assigned shift schedule
Benefits :
Statutory benefits (SSS, PHIC, HDMF)
Accumulated 15 sick leave and 15 vacation leave upon 2 months after regularization.
Mandatory 13th-month pay upon 1 month of employment.
SL and VL carried over the following year.
