Job Summary:
 
The QA Lead will be responsible for leading quality assurance, security testing, and vulnerability assessments (VAPT) for Digital Transformation Project. This role ensures the reliability, security, and compliance of software, middleware, and LMS systems by implementing robust testing strategies, automation frameworks, and security best practices. The QA Lead will collaborate with development and security teams to identify, document, and mitigate system vulnerabilities while mentoring junior QA testers.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage QA, security testing, and VAPT for Digital Transformation Project.
Develop and execute QA strategies, test plans, and both automated/manual test cases.
Conduct penetration testing (VAPT) and implement system security best practices.
Perform functional, performance, and API testing to ensure system reliability.
Utilize test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman) for efficient test execution.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other security standards.
Collaborate with developers, security teams, and project managers to improve system resilience.
Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and regulatory compliance records.
Provide training and mentorship to junior QA testers and development teams.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in QA, software testing, and security testing.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
Expertise in penetration testing (VAPT), security audits, and compliance testing.
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Strong knowledge of API testing with Postman and security tools like Burp Suite & OWASP ZAP.
Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and cybersecurity best practices.

Leadership and mentorship experience.
Preferred Certifications (One or More):
ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level)
Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer
Agile Tester Certification (ISTQB-AT)
