WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Research and analyze trends and online best practices
Develop and implement strategies that improve search results for The Virtual Hub and/or its clients
Innovate new methods to improve and maximize web traffic based on current SEO trends
Create and implement strategies around on-page and off-page key ranking factors
Understand the behavior of websites and search engines
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
Perform ongoing keyword research and recognize keyword opportunities
Develop and implement link building strategies
Work with The Virtual Hub’s and/or its clients' development teams, as well as editorial and marketing teams, to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
 
Candidates with...
...proven SEO experience
...a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
...in-depth experience with website analytics tools like Google Analytics
...experience with Google Adwords or any other similar bid management and keyword research tools
...an understanding of tools such as Google Search Console
...experience with A/B and multivariate split testing
...knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
...a basic understanding of web development (you will NOT be asked to develop websites)
QUALIFICATIONS:
A college degree, preferably
At least a year's experience in a related field
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A drive to constantly improve and learn
