SENIOR MEDICAL CODER

What You'll Do:
Analyze coding-related claim denials and identify root causes
Conduct audits of coded records (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS)
Collaborate with healthcare providers and coders to ensure correct documentation and code assignment
Lead coding quality improvement initiatives and training
Monitor regulatory changes and apply updated coding guidelines
Provide mentorship to junior coding staff
What You Need:
CPC, CCS, CIC, or equivalent certification
2+ years of experience in medical coding, auditing, or CDI
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, HIM, or related field
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, and E/M coding
Familiarity with payer audits and revenue cycle workflows
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities
