MEDICAL CODER (CPC/CCS CERTIFIED | 1+ YEAR EXPERIENCE)
 
Are you a certified medical coder with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for improving revenue cycle performance? We're looking for a Clinical Coding Analyst to join our team and play a key role in reducing coding-related denials and supporting compliant healthcare delivery.
 
Responsibilities
Analyze denied claims related to coding issues (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, modifiers)
Identify coding errors and documentation gaps contributing to denials
Collaborate with coders, providers, and revenue teams to resubmit claims
Conduct audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Stay updated on industry coding standards and payer requirements
Educate staff and providers on coding best practices
Prepare reports to highlight denial patterns and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in medical coding, auditing, or clinical documentation improvement (CDI)
Active certification: CPC, CCS, CIC, or equivalent
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding
Understanding of revenue cycle, medical necessity criteria, and payer policies
Proficient with coding software, EHR systems, and reporting tools
Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related medical field
Experience with risk adjustment audits or payer audit processes
