MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
 
JOB DETAILS:
Provides leadership and management of the Maintenance Department. Plans and sets the direction of the department.
Oversee the activities of the maintenance staff to achieve the goals of the department.
Reviews department and individual performance with the section engineer and staff regularly
Oversees execution of maintenance activities to ascertain quality, efficiency and timeliness. Ensures the required data management system structure and data encoding for manual database are consistently done and updated.
Sees to it that critical spares inventory for Maintenance requirements are always maintained.
Facilitates training and development of immediate reports and their people.
Ensure compliance to various company policies and implement safety programs in the department
QUALIFICATIONS:
A registered mechanical or electrical engineer is preferred.
At least 2 years of related work experience in an industrial plant, including experience in a supervisory capacity overseeing manufacturing operations and maintenance.
Knowledge in machine logic control, thermodynamics, statistical process control
Knowledge in ISO Standards (ISO9001, ISO14001)
Good verbal and written communication/reporting skills.
Must be good facilitator and communicator
Has good project management and people influencing skills
