URGENT HIRING: CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR

Shift: Australia Time
 
We are looking for a Construction Estimator for our Australian Client (Morning Shift Campaign). 
 
You must have at least 2 years of relevant experience for you to qualify.

An internal Helpdesk to provide support and assistance on your tasks
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will be reporting directly to the Director
Read and interpret Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical drawings and specifications
Preferable has knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and standards 
Can do measurements using BuildXact, Bluebeam revu: Autocad
Performs quantity takeoff on various trades of work
Get and follow up quotes from different suppliers and ensure timely submission to meet the deadline
Collate material price, list of suppliers and rates
Prepare Subcontract Agreement and send standard documents to subcontractors
Create and update project schedule from time to time
Familiar and can identify labour, material and time requirements based on drawings and client's proposal.
Computes cost by analyzing project requirements and design intent.
Can use programming software e.g. BuildXact, Microsoft Project, Google Gantt chart
Familiar with various estimating, scheduling, drawing, and other engineering software.
Excellent communication skills to deal to coordinate work with clients and deal with suppliers and subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A college degree, preferably
At least 2 year's experience in a related field
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A drive to constantly improve and learn
