CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
 
Job Description
 
The position is responsible for providing accounting services to the company. Work should ensure that all financial and accounting operations within the Accounting Department run smoothly including overseeing the work of the Disbursement, Payroll, Billing, Collection, and Audit Departments. Reviews the financial statements to ensure accuracy and report results of business operations, condition, and cash flow to upper Management.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and files with BIR, all tax returns including quarterly reports, and ensures that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
Files with SEC and other corporate entities all required documents.
Performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
Manage month-end and year-end closing including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial data.
Plays a critical role in the preparation of supporting documents and analysis for the annual external auditing.
Ensure accounting procedures are done in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in General Accounting/Audit
Must be knowledgeable with BIR facilities which include eFPS, SLSP, QAP, and CWT.
Able to lead the Accounting team to meet its goals and objectives.
Ready for immediate employment.
