URGENT HIRING: ACADEMIC HEAD
 
Job Summary:
 
The Academic Head oversees the academic operations of the ESL program, ensuring high teaching standards, effective curriculum implementation, and continuous improvement of faculty performance and student outcomes.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the ESL academic program, curriculum, and instructional standards
Supervise, train, observe, and evaluate ESL teachers
Ensure quality lesson delivery and compliance with academic policies
Develop and review lesson plans, syllabi, and assessment tools
Monitor student progress, attendance, and academic concerns
Handle academic issues, complaints, and level placement decisions
Plan class schedules and teacher assignments
Implement academic policies and quality assurance procedures
Prepare academic reports and recommendations for management
Coordinate with HR, Operations, and Admissions teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field
Familiarity with ESL special courses (Business, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL etc.)
At least 1 year of ESL teaching experience
At least 6 months in an academic supervisory or leadership role
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of ESL methodologies and assessment systems
