General / Cost Accountant, CPA- Batangas
Scope of Responsibility:
Shall be responsible for controlling of inventories, physical stock taking, reconciliation and maintainingaccurate inventory records
Shall insist in the implementation of cost accounting activities, procedures and systems to include the fully allocated cost or the cost center and product costing system.
Shall also ensure all the accounting information complies with reportorial requirements of governmentagencies and accounting standards
Shall be responsible for the preparation of monthly mis alea reports for reporting to HQ.
Task Formulation:
Spearhead monthly inventory count and prepares reconciliation against records
Review, analyze and prepare adjustments and other journal entries such as recrurring other journal entries as submitted by ACCFAAST
Prepare bank reconciliation
Prepare and ensure that monthly audit scheduleof all accontts are available
Analyze and respond timely to intercompany reconcilistion and confirmation requirements
Assist ACCSV on the processing of payments to suppliers and coordinate timely payment to ACCFAAST
Recommend changes in the company policies, requirements,practices,procedures and systems
Strictly adhere and implement accounting department controls, procedures and systems
Handle adminitrative functions such as housekeeping
Promotes health and safety among the Company's employees
Reports any accidents and near misses to the Safety Officer
Perform anlysis and other reports and other tasks as may be assigned by the ACCMGR
Qualification:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Must have at least 2 years of experience in External Auditing
Must have at least 3 years supervisory work experience in Cost Accounting
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
Excellent English communication skills (oral & written)
Proficient in MS office applications
Flexible, hardworking, has initiative and willing to learn
