We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in tax preparation and compliance with local and national regulations.
Collaborate with the finance team to support audits and other financial reviews.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
