Responsibilities
Clearing Accounts
Setting electronic file
Manual first $ rating
Loading rating model
Preparing quotes & binders
Developing policy
Review insurance submission documents and data for eligibility and completeness
Price account in our pricing tool, and write an underwriting narrative
Work with senior underwriters to determine whether to quote, structure and price
Further work with underwriter and underwriting assistants with quote, bind, processing.
Gather, clean and organize data from accounts submitting requests for insurance
Meticulously analyze and aggregate information from individual insured members. Identify anomalies or additional information needed; draft initial pricing models
Prepare tailored documents for individual member insureds
Correspond with brokers
Manage account portfolio volume and workflow
Clear file documentation
Required Skills/Experience
Strong math skills
Excellent proficiency with MS Excel & ability to apply it
Organized & methodical approach to tasks
Ability and willingness to learn
