A global shared services company based in Quezon City is seeking a UK/US Payroll Manager job to lead the payroll operations management and administration for their shared services team.
About the UK/US Payroll Manager Role:
In this role, you will act as the leader responsible and accountable for managing all payroll processes and ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations across different markets. You will closely partner with internal stakeholders including finance, human resources, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the payroll operations team by ensuring excellent customer service by responding to customer enquiries in an efficient and effective manner
Lead and motivate the team in order to achieve the team's objectives and to maintain a consistent high standard of service quality
Work with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to understand the implications of strategies and decisions on core services and support capabilities
Mentor and coach the team and ensure a positive work environment
Ensure performance improvement initiatives are in place by identifying service delivery issues and taking appropriate action
Ensure the team is sufficiently staffed to meet service level agreements
Maintain and improve quality standards within the team as well as identifying and bringing forward opportunities for improvement
To succeed in this UK/US Payroll Manager role, you need to have a strong business partner mindset with proven experience in dealing with various stakeholders across different markets.
Key Requirements:
At least 10 years' experience in a payroll function with experience in a leading and managing role
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a matrix environment
Experience managing UK and/or US payroll teams in a shared services environment
Personally effective - excellent organisational skills, proven success in managing projects
Ability to ensure that the highest standards of quality is achieved
