We are looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer who will be responsible for the conception, design, and execution of digital designs for our clients as well as the company. You will work with the Producers and Project Managers to manage the day-to-day client workload and delivery for the design team, allocating design work to the rest of the designers in the team. You will be responsible for the high-quality output of design work, with high attention to detail and a great client experience along the way.
As a senior designer, you will mentor other designers on the team, guiding and assisting the production of designs when required.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with clients from initial client pitching to delivery of assets and launches to ensure a smooth and effective experience is maintained with our clients.
Follow procedures set by the Senior Leadership Team, Operations Manager, Producers and Product Managers, raising any concerns you have with the Team Leaders for those functions if you encounter any concerns with the procedures.
Manage the Design Team's day-to-day client workload, allocating tickets in Jira to team members as per the current procedures.
Conceptualise, design, and produce high-quality, innovative, and visually stunning design deliverables.
Maintain and build upon the Visual Identity of the Company, working closely with the Company Directors.
Mentor more junior team members to develop their design skills and produce high-quality, innovative work.
Ensure all design assets produced are checked for quality and consistency in accordance with brand guidelines, visual identity, and the brief.
Provide accurate scoping of tasks when prompted.
Ensure all assets required are being delivered.
Attend relevant internal meetings and stand-ups that relate to the day-to-day deliverables of the Design Team.
Position Prerequisites
Strong design skills, with a focus in the areas of UI, UX, branding and visual identity, graphic design, and digital design.
Confident, clear communicator.
Able to represent a concept visually keeping on brief and managing the ideation and creation of the assets.
Able to manage the allocation and production of day-to-day tasks and deliverables in the design team with assistance from the Producers and Project Managers.
Able to mentor junior Design Team members in design-related areas.
Peer review and approve amended designs developed by other Design Team members via Jira.
Work with clients to develop clarity and direction for the design of deliverables.
Present designs to clients for approval and discussion.
Host client meetings and provide a positive client experience.
Accurately scope work and manage contingencies with financial or resourcing issues with assistance from the team.
Identify and raise areas for improvement in workflow and quality of work.
Quick learner, able to pick up new skills when required for the job.
Key Knowledge and Experiences
A minimum of 5 years of experience in design-related roles and relevant tertiary qualifications.
Highly proficient in design software such as Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, Jira, and Microsoft Office.
Up to date with trends, news and developments in the design and eCommerce industries.
Experience working with clients effectively.
Experience managing workload or, other designers effectively.
