The UI/UX Designer Intern helps turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. The responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. He/She will create both functional and appealing features that address our clients' needs and help us grow our customer base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Build page navigation buttons and search fields
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Assist in the definition of application architecture
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Iterate and make changes based on user feedback
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Qualifications:
Within 12 months of completing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Can render a minimum of 480 hours to a maximum of 960 hours of internship
Deep understanding of and interest in UI/UX Design
Strong organizational skills
Must be patient and have a keen eye for detail
Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with any prototyping tools is a plus (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
Willing to render internship in the office based set-up (Ortigas Center, Pasig City)
