The Role
As UAT Center and Branch Helpdesk Head, you will manage the overall functions of department in terms of bank branches system support, functional testing activities such as user acceptance testing, and project`s migration and implementation support. Will ensure that overall day-to-day operations run smoothly, and perform in accordance with the bank's core values, analyzing existing operations and drawing up improvement plans, drawing up budgets, and identifying opportunities for growth.
How you'll contribute
Oversee the capacity/resource planning and allocation.
Manage team assignments, projects and schedules using project list and accomplishments.
Supervise parallel testing activities to ensure schedule is on track to meet the target date and create action plan if the date is at risk to meet.
Validate proper approval prior to implementation of new systems/enhancements using approved documents (ISO, UAF, Risk Assessment, Security Matrix, etc.) to ensure that all areas are taken into consideration.
Monitor accomplishments and quality of deliverable through performance dashboard for project and operations status.
Review Security Matrix, Approval Matrix using the old documents (if available) and business requirements to analyze if request are feasible and controls are in place.
Work with business and project managers to capture business requirements and create test strategy.
Assess a vendor or product and recommend for test automation.
Project management status reporting and decision making for projects plan & changes.
Handle complaint management & issue resolution for branch support.
Manage compliance of the department for Internal Audit activities, BSP Compliance Issue Resolution, and adherence to Compliance/Audit/Risk and Other Bank/Regulatory Guidelines.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Business Management/Finance or other related field.
Must have 10 years and up of solid experience in software functional testing, test automation, and service delivery in financial/banking institutions.
Skilled in Software Development Life Cycle, testing processes and methodologies.
Strong project management skills and abilities including creation of test programs and strategies, and migration/implementation support for projects.
Ability to plan, monitor and control the demand versus capacity.
Good problem solving, analytical skills and communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking abilities and time management skills.
Ability to manage a team supporting production environment and test environment, working remotely and multi-locations.
Strong leadership and customer support service skills. Banks system support is desirable.
Good negotiation and decision making skills with all levels of the organization.
