The Role
To carry out various administrative support tasks relating to recruiting Tutors for the National Tutoring Programme. This is to ensure that tutors are appointed to fulfil the tutor activities. This is an entry level position within the Tutor Recruitment team.
Key Accountabilities
Deal with routine enquiries regarding applications and the status of applications by phone and email. Liaise with internal customers regarding Tutors
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all tutor vacancies - ensuring all compliance checks are complete all the way through to payroll.
Manage the on-board process of all Tutors- including the maintenance of bank details, HMRC data and personal information.
Ensure details of new tutors are communicated to other relevant internal departments.
Set up and manage logistical aspects of Interviews - booking venues, accommodation and travel if required.
Manage a variety of processes to ensure data is maintained accurately.
Create guidance documents and process maps for new vacancies where required.
Meet with key hiring managers to set up a process for new vacancies and improve the recruitment process for existing vacancies.
Train new team members in general processes
Assist wider team with administrative tasks
Key Challenges
High volumes of application forms and references need to be dealt with efficiently and within specified times
The Person
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
The ability to work effectively with limited supervision
A commitment to delivering objectives and KPIs
A can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing workplace
I.T Literacy
Intermediate MS Word and MS Excel, MS Outlook, (Essential)
Use of databases (Desirable)
Working Pattern
Standard 37.5 hours a week, office hours, Monday - Friday but will be required to be flexible during busy periods including the possibility of working at weekends occasionally. Overtime may be paid or offered as time off in lieu.
