Why Become a Tug Captain? As a Tug Captain, you'll be at the helm of maritime operations, guiding tugboats through Philippine waters. This role offers a unique blend of adventure, leadership, and responsibility, making every day on the job an exhilarating journey.
Requirements:
Seaman's Book: Your Passport to the Maritime World, showcasing your eligibility to work at sea.
Domestic Certificate of Competency (DCOC): A vital credential proving your proficiency in maritime operations.
Marina License: Choose from a range of licenses such as Boat Captain 3, Minor Patron, or Major Patron, granting you the authority to navigate Philippine waters with finesse.
Experience Preferred: While not mandatory, prior experience in Bay & River Operation, especially in towing and assisting, is highly valued. It's an opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Operational Scope: Your adventure awaits across the inter-island routes within the Philippines, catering to diverse client needs. You'll traverse iconic waterways like the Pasig River, Marikina River, and the vast expanse of Laguna Lake, adding richness to your professional journey.
