About the Team & Business Line:
For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.
Working with our Governance Services team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.
Your Role:
You will perform general accounting and bookkeeping according to local, international and industry specific accounting requirements
You will prepare financial statements and other required reports for statutory and management purposes
You will substantiate and justify expenditure and expense reports, when required
You will monitor financial transactions and review supporting documentations
You will communicate and coordinate client matters to the team, other Citco offices, and third parties
You will liaise with auditors, tax advisors and payroll company, when applicable
You will assist in preparation of payments
You will perform ad hoc projects and requests, as required
About You:
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting
You are a CPA which is an advantage but not required
You have 2-4 years of experience in an accounting/external audit position with an international organization or service provider, exposure to tax driven structures or asset management industry
You have knowledge of IFRS, HKFRS or Singapore FRS
You are proficient in relevant accounting software and other applications, such as Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.)
You have excellent communication skills (on both written and verbal)
You have the ability to work independently and in a team
You can maintain a high level of accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
You have good analytical skills
You are able to deliver quality work while adhering to strict timelines
