Job Description
Treasury Associate / Assistant
The post will be an integral part of the daily operations of Treasury and will be assigned to cover one or some of the entities under the San Miguel Food Group.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Funds Management, this involves the accounting of the assigned entities cash balances and fund sources as well as coordinating with various internal stakeholders for their respective funding requirements.
- Coordinates with Corporate Treasury for loan and investment requirements.
-Monitors proper timing of placements and loans to ensure that obligations are adequately funded.
- Monitors disbursements that need to be funded and ensuring adequacy of funds to finance daily transaction
- Prepares Letters of Instructions to transfer funds from one bank to another bank, if needed
- Handles foreign currency payments
- Propose and implement process improvements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
