THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Travel Services Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of pre/post travel product availability and cost for all Royal Caribbean Group brands. In addition, they will be expected to assist in the ad-hoc reporting to support development of strategies where required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining a suite of reports including weekly air news updates, weekly air booking figures and monthly airline revenue reports
Primary supporting market planning with insightful reporting and analysis that helps set a strategic direction
Manage financial exposure on committed air inventory through weekly reporting, highlighting risk ahead of time to enable timely actions and tactical response
Identifying opportunities and maintaining working relationships with key business partners
Working to continuously enhance and improve all reporting
Assist in the production of presentations and updates to senior management in relation to air strategy
Adhoc analysis and projects as required to support strategic growth of the markets
Understand the competitive landscape globally in the key strategic markets regarding the use of air carriers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years related experience in travel / airline financial / business analysis or related field preferred
Ideally Bachelor's degree (BA) from college or university or equivalent work experience required
Experienced user of Hyperion and Power BI or Tableau desirable
Experience utilizing Travelbox advantageous
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Previous experience with a GDS system, preferably Sabre
In depth knowledge and awareness of the global aviation industry.
High degree of I.T. literacy
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non technical audiences
Ability to understand, analyse and draw accurate and relevant conclusions from complex data to aid decision making.
Able to quickly grasp requirements and deliver creative, descriptive and informative reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
Confident and clear communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
