Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination & Planning:
Monitors and coordinates deliveries from external warehouses to Trading customer sites
Plots communicate delivery dates and ensure deliveries arrive as scheduled. Provides timely, consistent and up-to-date information to concerned parties
Assists TBMs and Sales support possible stock-diversions by providing needed details
Responds to logistics-related customer complaints by identifying corrective actions necessary to address the complaint
Monitors and ensures containerized cargoes are within the allotted port free storage days to ensure no unnecessary demurrage charges
Coordinates delivery instructions to assigned service provider to ensure satisfactory service
Responsible in systems related concerns ( i.e. systems receiving, ship confirmation and printing of DR)
Provides feedback to Sales Team and CCR on daily delivery schedules
Helps establish good customer-supplier relationship by having rapport and maintaining customer satisfaction
Billing checking and Endorsement:
Follow-ups on-time billing submission to provider
Validates 3PL billings to ensure accuracy of amount/date and matches delivery documents/requirements against billing documents to facilitate efficient collection process
Process and Endorse billings TL
Assists Accounting Receivables in providing the needed information or document for reconciliation purposes of pending credits for collection
Cross checks all penalty posted
Third party Logistics Service Provider:
Manages relationship with accredited 3PL service providers
Coordinates schedules of deliveries with truckers and shipping lines
Issues letter of authority (ATW) to assigned service provider, including all necessary details
Secures delivery feedback and confirmation from truckers
Reminds trucking coordinators of the specific unloading requirements of each customer Offer Template
Ensures delivery documents such as trucker waybill, delivery receipts (DR) and others, are returned to Pilmico Taguig office within the agreed lead time
Qualifications
Education:
A graduate of any four year course preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Experience:
At least two (2) years experience in related work
Other Requirements:
Entry level:
Ability to articulate ideas and communicate them clearly, confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing;
Ability to understand abstract or general ideas and apply them to specific situations;
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of electronic spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications.
On-the-job:
Ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues & third party service providers
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures specifically in relation to inventory
