Job Summary:
This person is responsible for undertaking production management, accounting, and tax reporting activities. This particular role will need to understand the process of working with various clients as well as state and federal tax and regulatory agencies, all across the US, be able to reconcile financial transaction clearance and tax impound and other transactional accounts.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in US Accounting or a similar role in the US tax accounting industry
Strong knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices, specifically with US payroll systems
Demonstrable knowledge of small business taxation - typical business entity options, tax planning considerations, coordination with advisors
Outstanding working knowledge US tax system, compliance & related functions
An almost obsessive level of attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
Successful applicants will be those who have the following skills or experience:
Knowledge in HubSpot, G Suite, Office 365, and business systems others
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, and cognitive thinking with interpersonal skill
The following experience will be highly regarded:
Ability to preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships
Knowledge and demonstrable skills with data analytics using Excel
