The Training Specialist role is responsible for effectively maintaining, coordinating and processing pre and posttraining, learning and development related requirements of sea farers
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the administrative processes involved with fleet & learning & development activities
• Process bookings, via email, telephone and website enquiries
• Administering payment and invoicing for both account and non-account clients
• Providing accurate pre-course information to delegates for organisational training requirements
• Efficient, accurate & timely certification & data uploads to various management systems
• Develop client & stakeholder relationships in order to realise the growth potential of the L&D function and to identify opportunities for development and risks to current business development
• Prompt delivery of required reporting at agreed schedule to Head of Learning
• Support other project initiatives as directed by Head of Learning
Skills and Qualifications :
• Atleast 3 years working experience in Training, Administration and related field
• Excellent Communication (both verbal and written) and Customer Service skills
• Effective self-management working within a remote team and management structur
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Process driven and able to demonstrate ability to create effective management systems
• Ability to work effectively using different management systems and across different levels of the organisation
• Demonstrates the ability to provide creative solutions to challenges.
• Highly adaptable, creative and motivated to learn and develop within the role
• Ability to grasp new systems and technology quickly and develop best practice
• Ability to deliver systems training to fleet personnel in a confident manner
• Intermediate Microsoft office skills
