The Role
As a Training Officer, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Training. You will induct newly onboarded staff by providing requisite preparation relevant to their role through the program learning channels and curriculum. You are also responsible for the performance of assigned trainees including acclimation to the company culture and adherence to its core values.
How you'll contribute
Facilitate training and deliver learning curriculum to newly onboarded employees.
Collaborate with the Training Team Leader in developing teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
Prepare reports on the activities of the training interventions and projects outlining objectives and accomplishment of outcomes.
Administers knowledge checks and post training assessments to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
Record outcomes and results of assessments; Prepares and circulates Training status and performance report to operations including final yield report at the end of each training batch.
Accurately assess skills, abilities, and knowledge to determine competence levels
Provide real-time support to all Trainees in Nesting or taking live calls.
Delivers coaching and mentoring as follow through to learning.
Monitoring staffs' performance by communicating with line managers and department heads.
Partner with the Training Team leader in collaborating with the Quality Assurance and Operations teams in identifying knowledge gaps and process improvement opportunities.
Conduct re-training, refresher and/or developmental courses in line with continuous learning and improvement.
Monitor and report on training projects and the enhancement of training initiatives.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to keep all references up to date.
Conducts module-specific training and/or cross-skill training to newly onboarded and existing employees.
What we're looking for
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any field of study
With at least 3 years experience in Training and Development
Knowledge of the Adult Learning Theory Comprehensive knowledge of training plan, curriculum, and aid design and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Teaching and facilitation skills
Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodology.
Ability to assess training needs and objectives
Banking and Finance / Knowledge of the overall bank internal processes
