Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver container vans from pier to the different warehouses of clients by driving 6 or 10 wheeler tractor heads.
Ensure that cargo is delivered timely and safely.
Routinely check and maintain assigned tractor head by assessing the following:
* Cleanliness of truck (internal and external)
* Battery
* Tires
* Water Level
* Oil Level
Inform head mechanic and dispatcher of possible repairs before it occurs.
Perform initial repairs to truck if and when breaks down occur.
Fill out incident report whenever an accident occurs or repair is requested.
Report status of delivery.
* If driving, duty will be passed on to helper.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least high school diploma
Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
Must have valid driver's license with a restriction code 1, 2, 3 & 8
Basic trouble shooting
Familiar with routes of trucks around Metro Manila
Good moral character
