TRADE MARKETING SPECIALIST
 
You will play a crucial role in driving sales, brand visibility, and market share within the highly competitive FMCG sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships with distributors, retailers, and other trade partners, and execute strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop comprehensive trade strategies that align with company goals, market trends, and consumer preferences.
Distribution Management: Manage relationships with distributors and wholesalers, ensuring timely product availability and effective inventory management across different retail channels.
Retailer Engagement: Cultivate strong partnerships with key retailers, conduct regular visits, and provide support to enhance brand visibility and optimize shelf space.
Promotion and Merchandising: Conceptualize, plan, and execute promotional campaigns, in-store merchandising displays, and trade marketing activities to drive sales and increase brand presence.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats, and recommend strategic actions accordingly.
Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, track key performance indicators, and generate reports to assess trade program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives and alignment across departments.
Trade Budget Management: Manage allocated trade budgets effectively, ensuring optimal utilization to achieve desired results.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and industry influencers, to enhance the brand's market presence and credibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of the Philippine FMCG market, including distribution channels, retail landscape, and consumer behavior.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and performance metrics.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trade partners.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative trade marketing campaigns and merchandising solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel frequently to visit trade partners and retail locations within Central Visayas.
