Job Description
Load Planning: Assess the weight, size, and center of gravity of the load to determine the appropriate rigging method and equipment required for safe lifting and moving.
Operational Efficiency: Operate the crane efficiently to meet project deadlines and production goals.
Safe Lifting: Operate hoisting equipment, such as cranes, winches, or forklifts, to lift, move, and position heavy equipment, machinery, or materials according to job specifications.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate the tower crane to lift, lower, and move heavy materials and equipment as needed on the construction site.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure the safety of oneself and others on the site.
Pre-Operation Inspection: Perform routine inspections of the tower crane to ensure it is in proper working condition. Report any defects or issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
Load Planning: Assess the weight, size, and shape of the load to determine the appropriate rigging methods and equipment required for safe lifting and movement.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with ground personnel and signal persons to coordinate lifting and movement activities.
Load Securing: Properly secure loads with the use of chains, cables, straps, or other securing devices to prevent shifting or falling during transport.
Weight and Balance Management: Ensure that loads are properly balanced and positioned for safe lifting and transport.
