Job Description
Perform Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding for engine parts
Responsible for proper fabrication and welding of customer parts and assemblies as requested
Lifting, moving, and holding or clamping work pieces to the table, into jigs, or into position manually or by using a pry bar.
Performing any combination of duties to assist in welding, brazing, and thermal and arc spraying
Use argon chambers and gas backups
Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics) or similar fields.
Ability to use tools / equipments such as TIG welding machines, belt sanders, hand-held sanders and grinders, powered saws
Demonstrate ability to work from prints, sketches, planning, or verbal instructions and weld a variety of parts and assemblies
Proficiency in the fabrication of heat sinks and related items for performing individual weld operations
Comfortable with shift work arrangement
