Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures that safety precautions are observed at the job site
Conducts initial test, high-speed, load test, features test, trouble shooting of elevator and/or escalator
Conducts testing and commissioning with client or other parties
Ensures the elevator and/or escalator quality with regards to safety and functionality
Monitors projects with ongoing elevator and/or escalator testing works assigned to him
Receives complaints and solves problems
Prepares and submits reports related to his work
Works on revision/addition of electrical circuits on elevators and escalators assigned to him
Train and develop his men in the efficient performance of their functions and for the personal growth in the company
Qualifications
Graduate of Electrical or Electronics Engineering course, preferably licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission
Must have an experience as an Elevator Engineer/Technician
Must be proficient in both oral and written communication
Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and with other trade contractors
Capable of negotiating effectively with subcontractors
