Job Description (Test Development Engineer):
The Test Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective test solutions for new products in the Precision Converters Group. Solutions should guarantee the product performance according to specifications and within the company's desired level of quality and reliability. The engineer prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus) in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering, with at least 5+ years of experience involving: analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits; designing hardware and software solutions for Automated Test Equipment that minimize test cost and maximize test performance; developing multi-site test program using programming languages such as C/C++ or Visual Basic; using schematic and layout tools such as Orcad, Cadence ALLEGRO; performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools; and documenting and presenting test plans and evaluation reports for Converters and Mixed-signal products. Experience with Teradyne FLEX platform is an advantage.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
