The Role
As a Test Automation Head , you will be responsible for test automation framework design and initiate across all software testing projects in the bank. The role is expected to propose solutions to test automation needs of small, medium to complex projects. The role should be able to standardize all automation guidelines and standards across projects. The role should be an expert on latest test automation strategies, techniques and testing tools. The role is decisive with which approach to implement upon discovery/design phase of a project. The role is expected to manage the test automation deliverables of active projects simultaneously.
How you'll contribute
Technical oversight of all test automation projects and decides on which framework and strategy to be implemented in an existing / new project
Creates test plans and framework for new projects encompassing different platforms - Web, Backend (API) and Mobile
Establish a model of team's productivity and translate them into test progress reports and metrics
Implement a working model that will address the different project deliverables
Establish goals on project test coverage and execution to meet bank's software quality standards
Manage all automation engineers with their career development and upskilling
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Software Technology, Software Engineering, or related courses.
At least 8 years of professional experience in software test automation;
Excellent in implementing CI/CD tools and processes i.e. Jenkins and Git
Expert on SDLC and STLC
Shows mastery on testing tools such as Postman, Docker, SQL, Git version control
Problem-solving skills - Applying solutions to test framework.
Experience working in Agile Scrum framework, Kanban and Waterfall methodologies
Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools and processes i.e. Jenkins and Git
Proficiency with Postman, Docker, SQL, Git version control
Familiar with Agile Scrum framework, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
Has proven leadership, building teams capability and motivator
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
