You will be working closely with different teams across different locations including ANZ, APAC, EMEA and NA. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Identify automation tools best for the current and future technology stack used within the Cash Equities space Drive automation framework and tests for new applications as well as enhancement and maintenance of test scripts for existing applications. Aid in addressing testability issues of existing applications and test tools Regular and effective cascade of automation scripts to the rest of the delivery team. Working with DevOps/test team and business, analysing test requirements, creating automated test scripts for new features and requirements. Timely execution of component tests, system tests, integration tests, regression tests, and performance tests in accordance with agreed test cases and test plans. Proper documentation and handover sessions for new test scripts Maintaining the integrity of the team core offering, ensuring delivery of software of the highest standards in a timely manner. Reporting bugs accurately and concisely, and timely follow up to resolution. Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks & issues. Guide team and individual members objectives and align these objectives with overall Tech/Site strategy Guide team and individual members with day-to-day deliverables aligned to regular releases. Maintaining test documents such as but not limited to Test scenarios, test data, test evidence in document repository under SharePoint and Confluence. ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS 3+ years of experience in one or more programming languages is an advantage, preferably Java, C# 3+ years of experience in SQL or other related database, preferably MS SQL 3+ years of experience in automation testing and/or tools development. Ability to develop complex automated flows using suitable data structures, conditions, loops etc applying strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Experience in Robot Framework or any REST/SOAP/WCF/WEB API test automation framework Experience on Kafka or any stream processing software (e.g. Active MQ etc).
