The Test Automation Engineer is responsible in automating tests of projects and implementing automation and test design best practices. Core Duties: Responsible in automating tests of projects and implementing automation and test design best practices Support and monitor Test Engineers in their test automation activities Apply and share effective automation strategies and techniques for all projects Participate in QA effort estimation, requirement analysis, and test plan review Create, maintain, and execute test cases Setup and apply needed test data based on test cases created Create and maintain automation scripts for projects Perform various types of testing not limited to: system testing, API Testing, Security Testing, retesting, regression, and integration testing Create bug or improvement tickets when an anomaly is found in the product Monitor the deployed app in production and advise production team for any pressing inquiries/issues Apply automation best practices throughout the organization Automate all projects which were not yet automated in the past Revise automation scripts of those poorly automated projects Comply in all project's automation schedules Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures Knowledge: Knowledge of multiple test automation frameworks, for functional and load testing Agile Software Development Lifecycle Processes and Methodologies Understanding of primary models of test automation frameworks, (i.e. data driven, keyword driven, hybrid, and behavior driven) Knowledge of containers and virtualization Knowledge of mobile automation tools Knowledge of automated build management tools Experience: Experience defining and implementing several test automation solutions utilizing front end web application testing via Cypress/Selenium. Advanced experience reading/writing one or more languages: C#, JavaScript, Java, Groovy, Python, Rubyrails Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile Development environment Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional automation projects 2-3+ years working as Automation Engineer leveraging test automation solutions of functional and load testing of web based technologies and relational databases
