Responsibilities:
Supervise daily and real-time alarms related to VoIP call capacity, VoIP quality(QoS), and VoIP call completion to and from the PSTN
React and Open tickets with global carriers and internal teams for call quality and call completion issues
Use tools to resolve why and when capacity spikes and poor quality alerts occur
Make recommendations for augments related to the capacity of concurrent calls
Aide in processing carrier rate decks
Ideal Candidate Must have:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Shown ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of telecommunications networks and environments
With a high level of technical and analytical knowledge and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Must have a strong critical thinking capacity, effective interpersonal skills
Experience and familiarity in VoIP call terminology and lingo
The ideal candidate will have:
In-depth knowledge of Voice PSTN networks and ability to grasp traffic flows in all directions
An outspoken demeanor to take initiative in seeking out solutions for problems to optimize performance and quality
Analytical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving that is strong in isolation, triage, and correlation
Team and collective work ethic and approach
Explore solutions to problems with consideration of full sense of ownership
Excellent Soft email and verbal communications skills working with Vendors and partners
Experience in Performing analysis, notification, and trending of traffic statistics
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in the use of traffic modeling tools and engineering
Experience in handling voice networks with tools set to filter out anomalies such as Net score, Kibana, Elastic search...
Using a system for crafting and running tickets for tracking and momentum
A tenure of at least 1-3 years in a similar role
