Are you ready to join a dynamic and global team and support the establishment, execution and improvement of our operational risk processes? We are seeking to appoint a Technology Business Operational Risk Manager to support our Technology Division aligned to Commodities and Global Markets. This role will be located in Manila.
Your role is to ensure Operational Risk is appropriately addressed and managed within Technology in line with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management framework, and facilitate the continual improvement of operational risk culture and awareness in Technology and more broadly for our Corporate Operations Group.
You will work collaboratively with the Technology team and senior business stakeholders to identify operational issues and control breakdowns and advise on proposed responses. You will be involved in incident investigation, proactive controls assurance deep-dives, and risk workshops. The role will require you to conduct training and perform regular risk reporting, presenting clear and concise findings to the team and business leads.
To be successful, you will have Technology expertise with operational risk management, technology operations or assurance experience. Ideally, you will have experience gained in-house or working with clients in a professional services environment. Experience in Controls Assurance activities will be well regarded. Candidates with a background in Technology Operations and/or Testing would be suitable for the role.
You will have the ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the capability to initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues are essential. You will be highly motivated and comfortable working within a dynamic, fast paced, enterprise agile environment.
