Join a team of experienced Technology Risk professionals based in our Manila office and partner with the Identity and Cyber Security (ICS) to drive strong risk culture.
This is a fantastic role that includes identifying risk and control deficiencies through the Risk & Control Self-Assessment, proactive Controls Assurance deep-dives, issues and incidents management. You will also be engaged in team collaboration involving providing risk-based insights around large merger and acquisition activities.
You will operate in a Line 1 function to ensure Operational Risk is appropriately addressed and managed across technology and business per Macquarie's Operational Risk Management framework. You will provide insights and advice on the best practice for control design, measurement, analysis, evaluation, and reporting of technology operational risk.
You will have the ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues are essential. You will be highly motivated and comfortable working within a dynamic, fast paced, enterprise agile environment.
What we are looking for:
To be successful, you will have technology risk expertise with operational risk management and assurance experience. Experience in technology Controls Assurance activities will be well regarded
experience in Operational Risk, Technology, Internal and/or External Audit gained within an international financial institution and/or professional services firm
undergraduate / Tertiary degree in information technology or a related area as well as professional qualifications (e.g.: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCSC, CISSP) or relevant postgraduate degrees will be advantageous
bring a mindset that is focused on agile principles and values, champions an inclusive and diverse culture, can identify and work with the team to implement automation opportunities, effectively manage risk, understands the importance of continuous improvement, and a commercial focus.
You will join an experienced team, working independently and collaboratively within a global matrixed organization to deliver results whilst showing the tenacity, agility, and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.
