Primary Responsibilities:
Generate concepts and develop projects based on new and emerging technologies. Document research and push for project implementation parallel to overall business strategies.
Work closely with Technology and Innovations Manager, Interfaces with business pillars, vendors, and other IT personnel during planning and execution phases of concept creation to ensure business and technical requirements are satisfied.
Keep up to date with the latest technological developments through attendance at trade shows, conferences, and attending internal and external training where appropriate.
Generate concepts and develop projects in line with the Product Innovation Strategy, Insight Strategy, and Ideation Strategy.
Ideate Patentable concepts in line with Innovation Strategy.
Development of Proof of Principle, Proof of Concept, Prototype Models, and Product Offerings that fit to the current and future product portfolio.
Presents Innovation/Ideation Strategies, and POC/Prototypes to Stakeholders, Architecture Team, Development Team, and Leadership Teams.
Provides Comparative Analysis and Technical Evaluation of new Solutions based on the developed proof of concept.
Creates documentation and ensures adherence to the team's processes.
Provide support to development team by timely response regarding prototype project queries.
Generate new concepts to improve existing processes and products.
Basic Qualifications:
Preferably graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field with emphasis on application development, innovation and new technologies.
Preferably with a minimum of 2 years experience in Application Development, Web Development, etc.
Good technical knowledge in Javascript language.
Open to entry-level candidates and talents as long as driven, motivated, and has immense interest and knowledge in emerging technologies and innovations.
Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
